As soon as you walk in, The Salty Crab Bar & Grill will bring a smile to your face. This place has so much personality! The happy bright colored umbrellas and furniture, plus the funny signs everywhere will definitely cheer you up. The Salty Crab has the perfect location right on the beach and is not far from the famous Fort Myers Beach Fishing Pier. Surrounded by palm trees it feels like you're in paradise.
The Salty Crab is very chill and laid-back and provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy some drinks and delicious food. They have many delicious drinks, from various spiked iced teas and rum cocktails to multiple kinds of house-made mojitos and margaritas. Check out their awesome drink menu. One of their specialty drinks is their refreshing homemade white sangria. You can find the recipe in the picture gallery below. It is written on a beach chair! LOL.
They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They serve a great variety of fresh delicious food. Check out their menu. Of course when you're in Ft Myers Beach you have to try the seafood! The Crabby Benedict for breakfast is one of their specialties and oh, so delicious! I also enjoyed the wonderful garlic mussels dish while I was there. Besides amazing seafood, we can't forget about their Key Lime pie. It's is one of the best! It's the Key West authentic award winning pie and 4-time national champion. Traditional and classic, and so tasty.
Whether you like to keep your feet in the sand, or keep the shoes on and stay clear from sand while on the patio or at the bar, there are several seating options for everyone to be comfortable. It makes this place very welcoming. Since The Salty Crab has a seating area right on the beach it makes it one of the best places to watch the sunset.
